Spiced Vanilla Milk
This warm, spiced vanilla milk is a cozy drink to enjoy at breakfast with muffins or scones. Drink hot vanilla milk before bed to help you sleep at night!
Last summer I was determined to drink hot coffee and tea, in spite of the absence of air conditioning and the fact that drinking them raised my body temperature to uncomfortable levels. I just love hot drinks!
As I journey deep into winter, steaming mugs of black currant tea and chipotle-spiked cocoa are my constant comforts. January needs warming up, and a hot beverage is just the thing.
So, for each Wednesday in January, I’ll be sharing a new hot beverage idea with you!
Today’s beverage is a childhood favourite, dressed up with a hint of spice. This warm vanilla milk is a soothing drink to have before bed, or a cozy beverage to enjoy at breakfast with muffins or scones.
Here’s how to make Spiced Vanilla Milk:

Hi Elsie – thanks for hosting Wellness Wednesdays. This is the first time I’ve linked up and I’m looking forward to more. I used to live in the south too (Georgia)and I’ve always wished I could go back:)
Be back next week!

Too cool! I’m from Georgia originally! Savannah! And sorry we didn’t have WW this week…all of us hosts had things come up, and we took a little break!
Thank you for hosting… and that Spiced Vanilla Milk sounds amazing. I always like to have ideas for warming beverages that do *not* contain caffeine! (Much as I love the stuff, it’s just not a good idea for an afternoon drink for me…)
This week I’m sharing my Apple Prune Preserves… the notes and pictures for which were taken way back in the Preserving Summer season!
Have a blessed New Year!

This sounds SO good! I will have to try it very soon 🙂
Spiced Vanilla Milk sounds so yummy! Unfortunately, I sometimes resort to coffee in the afternoon. I’m trying to break that habit in 2014 with my stash of herbal teas.
