My Homemaking Command Center

Win a gorgeous 2015 daily planner from Homemaker's Friend! - RichlyRooted.com

I’ve relished the journey of simplifying our home, and now I’ve found an awesome tool for simplifying my schedule and to-do lists! The Homemaker’s Friend Planner is a command center for a homemaker’s tasks, important info, shopping lists, and monthly and weekly planning. I’m going to give you a sneak peak at the 2015 planner, and then one of you will have a chance to WIN a planner of your own!

Year at a Glance

Here’s what I love about The Homemaker’s Friend daily planner:

First, I love the size! The planner is 6 inches wide by 9 inches tall–small enough to fit in a pocket of my shoulder bag! But it’s also thick enough to contain all the pages and sections I need to stay organized.

The planner is divided into seven sections, which you can flip to easily with tabs. The 2015/2016 mini calendars are the place to jot down important dates for quick reference. The monthly spreads are perfect for scheduling appointments, deadlines, or family events. My favourite part is the weekly planning section, which has space to record each day’s activities, tasks, and menu plans.

There are also tasks and projects sections which contain plenty of lined pages to create packing lists, to-dos for special events, seasonal projects, or whatever you need to plan, record, and brainstorm! The info section is a mini address book where you can keep contact info that will be relevant to your year–doctors, current teachers, contractors, etc. The back of the planner has a section of perforated shopping lists that you can tear out as needed!

Why the Homemaker's Friend planner is awesome

The theme of the 2015 planner is God’s promises. Throughout the pages, you’ll find famous quotes about promises, or Bible passages that contain a promise in them. Sue Hooley, the creator of the Homemaker’s Friend planners, is a Christian homeschooling mom of 6! It’s obvious that she’s taken great care to put together a planner that’s both highly practical as well as visually uplifting.

The entire planner is well thought out, with lots of little touches that set it apart from any other planner on the market.

The updated planners are available now! You can also buy planners in bulk to get additional savings (say, if you wanted to get extras to give as Christmas presents!)

One of you also has a chance to win a FREE 2015 planner! Enter to win here:

  1. Thanks to Don’t Waste the Crumbs, I have a new page to follow for support and inspiration. I LOVE this planner. Much better than the plain old planner from local store that I hate to shop at.
