Strawberry Cantaloupe Summer Smoothie
Here’s a recipe for a creamy, naturally sweetened strawberry cantaloupe smoothie made with banana, raw honey, and yogurt. A delicious snack or breakfast!
I hereby give full credit to my husband Eric for making this smoothie.
It’s one of the best smoothies I’ve ever tasted. We have smoothies pretty regularly around here–usually throwing in whatever fruit, greens, berries, and dairy we have on hand. Sometimes we eat smoothies for a meal with a big pot of popcorn to go with them.
But when I took a sip of this strawberry cantaloupe smoothie for breakfast one day, I knew we had to write it down so we wouldn’t forget it! We don’t usually have cantaloupe in our smoothies, so maybe that was it. Or maybe it’s the symphony of combined sweetness from the fruit and raw honey.
Regardless, this smoothie was special and definitely blog-worthy. We added a little kelp powder, as we often do, for the iodine (we use Real Salt instead of iodized table salt). If you don’t have kelp on hand, feel free to skip that ingredient–or add you own favourite “superfood” instead.

Sweet! That’s one of my husband’s favourite ice cream flavours!
I can honestly say that I’ve never had canteloupe in a smoothie before, but it sounds delicious! Can’t wait to try this recipe!
It makes it tastes really sweet and fresh, and adds to that coral-pink colour!
