This quick cinnamon biscuits are WAY better than Cinnabon! The biscuit dough is the easiest biscuit recipe ever!

Cinnamon Roll Biscuit Bites

These Cinnamon Roll Biscuit Bites are light and fluffy with just the right amount of buttery sweetness. You can have them in your mouth in 30 minutes, easy. They taste AMAZING!!

Servings 20 Biscuits

Ingredients

For the Biscuits:

  • 2 cups unbleached flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4+ cups heavy cream

For the Topping:

  • 3 Tbsp butter* see step 1
  • 3 Tbsp granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

For the Icing:

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 Tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 Fahrenheit. *Place 3 Tbsp butter in glass pie dish or cast iron skillet and put in preheating oven until the butter melts. Remove dish from oven.

  2. Thoroughly mix together flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir in 1 1/4 cup heavy cream until all the flour is mixed in, adding an additional tablespoon or two of cream if necessary.
  3. Mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon. Pinch off biscuit dough and roll each biscuit in cinnamon sugar, then place in buttered dish. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar over biscuits in dish.
  4. Bake biscuits for 12-15 minutes, until the sides are just beginning to brown. Meanwhile, make the icing by stirring together powdered sugar and 2 Tbsp heavy cream. Drizzle icing over finished biscuits and eat them while they’re hot.

Recipe Notes

Variation: You can add 1/2 cup of cinnamon chips to the biscuit dough if you want extra pizzazz!

I like to use Real Salt and aluminum-free baking powder in my recipes! You can find these, as well as the unbleached flour, in some stores or on Amazon.
